MYEL jewelry is handmade in the very center of Montreal by passionate craftsmen. We are committed to offering you jewelry that will fully satisfy you and that is why we offer different after-sales services.

1. RESIZING

We know it is not that simple to find the perfect size on the first try when it comes to a ring. And even more so when you offer it as a gift. That's why we offer the first resizing on all our rings within 30 days of the date of purchase*. For example, a ring bought on January 15, 2022 can be adjusted to another size for free until February 15, 2022

If a new resizing is needed or if the 30-day period is exceeded, the adjustment of your ring will be charged: 

  • $30 for silver rings 
  • $40 for gold or stainless rings


Please note that resizing is made by our expert and do not harm the ring.

It is also possible to enlarge or shrink the length of our necklaces and bracelets :

  • Shrinking the chain of a necklace or bracelet is free of charge within 30 days from the date of purchase. After the 30-days period, the chain can be shrank for a $30 cost, included gold or silver bracelet and necklace.

  • Extend the chain of a necklace or bracelet in gold or silver is chargeable and the price will be determined based on the extra length. We will send you a quote to let you know the price of the extension. If the quote is accepted, our jewellers will make the size adjustment.

2. LIFETIME WARRANTY

MYEL jewelry is designed to stand the test of time. That is why all our jewelry is guaranteed for life. If a manufacturing defect has escaped our quality control, you can bring your jewel back to us and we will repair it. This warranty cannot apply to: 

  • jewelry which has been modified (resized, repaired, etc.) in a jewelry store other than MYEL.

  • a stone breakage due to lack of care or due to an accident (shock).

  • loss or theft of your jewelry.

a. REPAIRING

If your jewel needs to be repaired, we invite you to return it to us so that our expert examines it and finds out the origin of the defect. If it is a manufacturing defect, the lifetime warranty applies and we take in charge the repairing of your jewel. If the repair is not due to a manufacturing defect (deformation, shock, scratch, wear and tear, resizing out of time), we will examine your jewel to find out if the repair is possible and we will send you a quote to let you know the cost of repairs. If the quote is accepted, our jewellers will repair your jewel as soon as possible.

b. FREE CLEANING AND POLISHING

To ensure that your jewelry retains its shine for as long as possible, cleaning and polishing are free for life for all MYEL customers. Come and drop off your jewel in store. To keep your jewel in very good condition, we advise you to come and clean it at least once every two years.

3. EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

If you are not fully satisfied with your product, you have up to 30 days after the date of purchase (or receipt of your product for online orders) to ask for a return or an exchange*. Your refund will be credited by the same means of payment as during your purchase. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 business days to appear in your account due to different processing times at different financial institutions. Online orders can be returned to the store for a store credit in the form of a gift card OR exchanged for another size or another product OR refunded.
